    Telecommunication Engineering Graduates will be able to:

    1. Engineering knowledge:Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and engineering specialization to the solution of complex telecommunication engineering problems.
    2. Problem analysis:Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex telecommunication engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
    3. Design/development of solutions:Design solutions for complex telecommunication engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Telecommunication is a discipline in its own right. Telecommunication engineering wholly integrates the science and engineering of all that makes communication through electronic devices. Telecommunication engineers design, build and manage systems that transmit process and store information as electrical or optical signals. This program enables engineering graduates to develop the technological and competitive skills needed in the design and engineering of modern telecommunication systems and networks.

Open Day project exhibition-2018

Open Day project exhibition (One Day activity) was organized in the Department of Telecommunication Engineering, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, to showcase Research and Innovative concepts.

Valedictory Program on Java

Valedictory Program on Java was conducted from 13th March 2017 till 29th May 2017 by Mr. Chetan Kumar Gorkal for students of 6th semester of Telecommunication engineering to bridge the gap between industry and academia, which provided them a platform to enhance their learning curvature.


NETSYS-2017 an inaugural edition of the workshop conducted by Department of Telecommunication Engineering on Feb 06th and 07th 2017. In order to provide an insight of networking concepts and the technological updates to keep our students walk along the recent trends on communication networks.
