DSCE-KIOCL Centre of Excellence
Kudaremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd (KIOCL) has signed an MOU with DSCE Civil Engineering Department on 20.10.2019 and established DSCE-KIOCL Centre of Excellence. Shri M B Rajesh Gowda IAS, Managing Director, BESCOM, Bengaluru and Dr R Prabhakara, Former Professor Emeritus, VTU, Belagavi , inaugurated the Centre of Excellence in the Civil Engineering Department.
Kudaremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd funded to DSCE. As a part of enhancing the academic excellence KIOCL presented a working model of Concrete flow box to the department. From this model we are confident that the students would gain better insight into the complexity associated with using of several wastes can be used effectively in sustainable R&D work which can replace the sand and aggregates.
