Smart workout gauntlet to track exercises by Arcis: Team Arcis of DSCE, Bangalore have engineered a prototype for a ‘smart workout gauntlet’ which can track the type, number of repetitions and efficiency of exercises performed by the athlete by tracking important variables.


Global Hackathon conducted by Cognizant / Salesforce Team: The students from Department of Computer Science and Engineering Won the Global Hackathon conducted by Cognizant/Salesforce Team, competed against 10 teams from 8 different countries.

Abhishek Anand, Bhargav B V and Mehul Poddar of VI semester won Second Prize in Hackwell 1.0 24 hour hackathon sponsored by Honeywell and organized by JSSATE Bengaluru in April 2019.


Abhishek Anand, Bhargav B V and Mehul Poddar of VI semester were Runner’s up in 24 hour hackathon organized by BMSCE AND Bengaluru in April 2019.

As per the MOU signed with Automation Anywhere, the BOT lab has been setup in the department of Computer Science & Engineering. The installation of the Automation Anyhwhere software was done on 5th, April 2019 and inaugurated on 8th, April 2019.

Two final year students from Computer Science Ms. Akshata and Mr. Lingesh have a got a an opportunity for doing their internship / Research in Indiana University under Dr. S . P Sreenivas, Indiana University, Bloomington, USA for four weeks starting from October 5th 2018 to Nov 10th 2018.
