Talk on Reinforcement Learning

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering organized a talk on “Reinforcement Learning” on 8th February 2020 Microprocessor Lab, CSE Block. The talk was delivered by Dr. Krishnan R., Prof. CSE, DSCE and was attended by the faculty of the department including the Head of the Department Dr. Ramesh Babu D R.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering organized a talk on “Knowledge Representation, Ontology and OWL” on 22nd February 2020 in Microprocessor Lab, CSE Block. Faculty Workshop by Google on Cloud Computing

As a part of industry collaboration with Google Bangalore, The Google Cloud Computing Foundations (GCCF) faculty workshop was conducted at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, between December 12 and 14, 2019.

Indoor Sports Event

Indoor sports event was organized in department of Computer Science and engineering on 6 th November, 2019 events like Carom, chess, skipping, Rubik’s and treasure hunt was included. Nearly 75 students participated in the event. Students had a good fun filled day.

BUDDY SYSTEM -First Year and Senior Student Interaction-2019

160 students attended the interaction session from CSE department. After this the students from final year(7th SEM) introduced themselves to 1st year students and started the session and discussed about Ethics and discipline, Placements, Hackathon

Mini Project Fair

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering conducted Mini – Project Fair – A one day mini-project exhibition for the 3rd and 5th semester students.

Cooperative and Peer Learning

Mrs Anupama Girish and Mrs Shravya AR, Faculty, Department of Computer Science attended an FDP on “ICT enabled teaching learning program”. A brief information on several tools was given during the training program.

Google cloud certified course

Hearty congratulations to Mr. Bavanasi Saikarthik successfully completing “Google Cloud Certified Course” as Associate Cloud. (Mr. Bavanasi Saikarthik is presently purusing his BE Third year course in Department of Computer Sciecne and Engineering, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore.)

IEEE RAS Student chapter

IEEE RAS Student chapter workshop was conducted on Oct 05th 2019 on Machine Learning and Linear Regression.


As a part of BUDDY SYSTEM, senior students of the department interacted with their juniors on 25th October 2019. The students discussed about Ethics and discipline, Placement, Hackathon, MOOCs, Paper Publication, Internship, Mini Projects, Student enrolment in Innovation Labs and Student Club activities.


The Internship cell of the Department of Computer Science, DSCE “INTERNCUBE” was inaugurated on 7/09/2019.

2 students won the Grace Hopper Scholarship, Bangalore

The Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI) is the largest technical conference for women in Asia. GHCI is produced by Google India in partnership with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) India. GHCI inspires, connect and guides women technologists with role models, new learnings and increased networks to advance their careers. Aashruti and Aulick from Final Year won this prestigious scholarship from Google this year.
