    Mini Project Exhibition

    Mini Project Exhibition was organized in the department for 5th semester students on 24th November 2018. The projects were evaluated by Dr.Bhanuprashanth S, Professor, Dept. of Medical electronics, BMSCE.

    A Brief Report on Mini-Project of 6th Semester Students

    The Department of Electronics And Instrumentation Engineering has taken initiative to enhance the practical skill sets of students through mini projects. The mini project exhibition was conducted on 11/05/2017. The students of 6th semester of Electronics And Instrumentation Engineering Department showcased their talent in the same. The exhibition was reviewed by our respected Principal. Dr. C.P.S. Prakash and the Head of the Department Dr. V.G. Sangam. The mini project exhibition was coordinated by Dr. J Satheesh Kumar, Associate Professor, Electronics And Instrumentation Engineering Department

    The exhibited mini projects were based on the following

    • Arduino Hardware
    • Programming with Arduino software and MATLAB
    • Interfacing with Sensors and External Circuits
    • Wireless Data Transmission using Arduino [ Bluetooth, Zigbee]

    The mini projects were successfully completed with the contribution of all the faculty of Electronics And Instrumentation Engineering Department.

    Project Open day

    The Project Open day was organized in the department on 21st May 2018 for the final year students. Our respected Secretary Sri Galiswamy & honorable Principal Dr.C.P.S.Prakash inaugurated the event. Mr. Jayaprakash, General Manager C&I, Tata Consulting Engineers Limited, evaluated the projects. Various recognitions like best project, best innovative project, and best project of social relevance were awarded during open day event.

    Alumni Meet 2017

    Department of Electronics And Instrumentation Engineering DSCE, Bangalore organized Alumni Meet on 1st April 2017.The guest of honour was Dr. C P S Prakash ,Principal, DSCE . He explained the significance of Alumni reunion for the growth of the institution and individuals .

    Addresing the inagural functionworthy Dr. V G Sangam HOD, Dept. of IT welcomed the chief guests, and he said , Alumni are the brand ambassodors of the department as well as institution and a very vibrant relationship must be established and nurtured.He called upon the alumni to contribute to the development of the department . Alumni came up with many suggestions regarding the syllabus of courses, laboratory development etc.

    15 alumni members attended the meet.A few of alumni shared their experience as well as intersting moments of campus life to the audience. It was a great pleasure to know about their accompalishments in professional lives.

    A feed back was collected from alumni regarding the organizational aspects of the meet and their suggestions as they stressed more on advanced programming concepts to be included in the syllabus and more number of industrial visit and workshops.

    Workshop on “Arduino Programming and Interfacing”

    Department of IT organized a two day Workshop on “Arduino Programming and Interfacing” on 7th and 8th April, 2017. Dr. V.G Sangam, HOD of IT department formally invited the all guests through the Welcome address. The workshop was inaugurated by

    Dr.CPS Prakash, Principal, DSCE. The Guests of honor are Dr.Ramesh Babu, Vice Principal, DSCE, Dr.H.Ramakrishna,Vice Principal, DSCE and Mr. Akshay Sharma, Arduino India, Bangalore

    The main highlights of the workshop are as follows

    • Introduction to Arduino basics.
    • Introduction to Arduino Libraries
    • Hands on Training on sensor interfacing
    • Display of WiFi based project

    Forty Seven students registered for this workshop. The faculty of IT department Dr. J Satheesh Kumar & Prof Meharunnisa coordinated this event. The valedictory meeting was conducted on 8th April at 12.30 PM. The event was graced by guests Dr. A.R. Aswath, Dean Academics, DSCE and Dr.A. Sreenivasan, PG-Director, DSCE.

  • National Conference on Sustainable Emerging Intelligent Technologies (SEITCON-2016):

    National Conference on Sustainable Emerging Intelligent Technologies (SEITCON-2016):

    Date: February 22nd & 23rd – 2016

    The National Conference on Sustainable Emerging Intelligent Technologies (SEITCON-2016) was held in the Department of Electronics And Instrumentation Engineering on 22-02-2016 and 23-02-2016. The conference was centered on subject of "sustainable emerging intelligent technologies". Session chair persons were Mr. H P Anil Kumar, Manager, AGRAJ Automation, Bangalore and Mr. G M Patil, Prof of Dept of IT, DSCE.

    The session included the specimen talk on project execution and its difficulties in industries with some guidelines to solve the problems with simple techniques along with few real time examples.
