Students of VI semester have participated in the workshop and had hands on Practice to control various third party devices such as PID controllers and V/F motor drives through SCADA environment. Enigma 2017
Enigma 2017:
As a part of efforts of the Department of EEE to bring in the learning enthusiasm and technical skills for the students, the Annual technical fest Enigma 2017was conducted in the department on 10/3/2017&11/03/2017.The event was categorized as follows.
- Preliminary round-The prelims of the annual department tech fest saw enthusiastic participation from the students. The Written prelims was conducted for all events to shortlist the finalists for further rounds
- Junkyard wars:Students were given a problem statement and a various junk materials with motors and wheels. They had to design a working model for the problem with in a stipulated time.
- Technical Quiz:Top 5 teams from prelims were challenged in the next round with a technical quiz based on various topics from general technical knowledge to subject specific questions
- Circuit Debugging:Students shortlisted in the prelims were given circuits to be simulated using SPICE simulators and further shortlisted students were asked to design and implement circuits using hardware.

" The faculty and students of EEE department visited Desire Foundation on 26-1-2017.It is an NGO which provides schooling and stay for underprivileged especially for HIV-infected children. The department donated stationaries and eatables for the students and celebrated Republic day with the kids of the school."

" The students of EEE Department, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering- Bangalore, have visited M/s BALAJI ELECTRO CONTROLS PVT LTD-BANGALORE on 20/01/2017 along with the organizing faculty Mr. Balaji Ramakrishna S-Assistant Professor-EEE.
The students have been explained about the versatile engineering technologies employed in the organization and have been allowed to explore the operational units such as Local & Distribution control panels, Power control panels and Intelligent motor control station.

- To design and simulate various op-amp configuration applications.
- To enhance circuit analyzing capability and trouble shooting.

RAMANA MAHARSHI ACADEMY FOR THE BLIND located J P Nagar-Bangalore.
