Research

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department has been recognized as a Research and Development Centre by VTU since 2012. We are proud to facilitate a comprehensive Doctoral program (PhD) and M.Sc. (Engineering) by research. Presently, ELEVEN PhD scholars are engrossed in pioneering research under the adept mentorship of Nine research guides in the department.

Our research vision is to lead in the development of innovative solutions to the evolving challenges in the power sector and PSUs.

Our faculty and students are continually recognized for their contributions to esteemed international and national journals and conferences, reflecting the department's strong commitment to research excellence. The department's research initiatives have been substantially supported by grants from national funding agencies such as: (i) Department of Science and Technology (DST), (ii) Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), (iii) Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), (iv) Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), (v) All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), (vi) Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), (vii) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC), (viii) Vision Group On Science and Technology, etc.
